Sarpy/Cass Health Department Clinics:

The Federal Retail Pharmacy Program provides COVID-19 vaccines direct from the Federal Government to pre-authorized pharmacies.  These vaccine doses are not taken out of Nebraska's weekly vaccine allotment.  The number of participating pharmacies and vaccine availability may change over time.  View participating clinics at: www.vaccinefinder.org

A Sarpy or Cass County resident can register for an appointment at a clinic in either Sarpy or Cass County.

In Nebraska, the age of majority is 19 years of age.  Anyone under the age of 19 who wishes to receive a COVID-19 vaccine must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at the time of the vaccination appointment.

Information about Pfizer vaccine eligibility:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of the vaccination appointment because of the emergency use authorization age requirement of the Pfizer vaccine.

Information about Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccine eligibility:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of the vaccination appointment because of the emergency use authorization age requirement of the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.

Due to the number of residents that are currently eligible to receive a vaccine and the limited amount of vaccine in our community, it may take a few weeks to vaccinate everyone in this age group. Please be patient as appointments fill up quickly.

You are responsible for scheduling your own appointment for a COVID-19 vaccination appointment.  If you need assistance, please consider asking a friend or family member to assist you in scheduling an appointment.

If you have any questions regarding the COVID-19 vaccine or if you are having difficulties scheduling an appointment, please call the Sarpy/Cass Department at 402-339-4334 and press 1.  Phones are answered Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
